Description: Classic big water fishing on this section of the Colorado River near Dotsero offers the chance of catching trophy rainbows and browns. This stretch of 100- to 150-foot wide river is seldom fished, even by boaters and rafters. The lease includes the east bank of the river only, and covers about two-thirds of a mile. Long deep pools and runs characterize this section of river which is best fished in the spring and fall.

Location: A few miles above Dotsero at Rancho Irvo between Gore and Glenwood Canyons off Colorado River road.
